Laura Baker

Laura Baker is a dedicated Social Scientist with extensive experience in research and project management. Currently employed at Forest Research since August 2024, Laura previously held the title of Senior Research Executive at Walnut Unlimited, where responsibilities included managing projects end-to-end and applying Behavioral Science to enhance research outcomes. Prior roles include Behaviour Change and Research Officer at Hampshire County Council, where Laura specialized in designing research methodologies and leading workshops, and Activity Manager at ANGLO Ltd, where Laura organized recreational programs for international students. Educational credentials encompass a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Bristol, along with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Surrey. Laura is also a founding member of the Young People’s Climate Collective, advocating for sustainability in the research industry.
