Wildland Fire Contract Photographer (usfs And Blm)

Avi Farber is an accomplished Artist and Designer with a focus on 3D printing ceramics, new media, photography, and emerging technologies, currently leading Avi Farber Studio since January 2015. With extensive experience as a Wildland Fire Contract Photographer for the U.S. Forest Service and as a Wildland Firefighter on various crews, Avi also contributed as a Collaborating Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, advancing 3D printing practices in ceramics. Previously, Avi served as a Seminar Leader and Research Assistant at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, an Industrial Designer at Econic Apparel, and a Resident Artist at Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort and Taos Clay. Avi holds a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Design from Emily Carr University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Bates College, supplemented by additional training at Maine Media Workshops and Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.
