Barbara Johnson has extensive experience in land conservation and budget analysis, having worked with various federal agencies, including the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. They served as a Budget Analyst at the Office of Management and Budget from 1997 to 2002 and held several positions where they focused on environmental issues, including as an Environmental Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Barbara is pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Studies at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and holds an A.B. with Distinction in International Relations from Stanford University. As the National Program Manager for the National Forest System land conservation program, they continue to influence sustainable land management practices.
