Christopher O'Connor

Research Ecologist

Christopher (Kit) O'Connor serves as a Research Ecologist with the USDA Forest Service since October 2015, leading efforts in wildfire data analytics, fire responder exposure studies, and pre-fire planning initiatives. O'Connor's research emphasizes applied science in fire management, focusing on risk reduction through fire adaptation and enhancing operational safety.
