Claire O'Dea

Resources Planning Act Assessment National Program Leader

Claire O'Dea is currently the Resources Planning Act Assessment National Program Leader at the U.S. Forest Service, where they oversee the publication and implementation of the RPA Assessment, a critical analysis of renewable resource trends in U.S. forests and rangelands. Previously, they served in various capacities including Acting RPA Assessment National Program Leader, Ecologist, and Environmental Analyst, developing and managing significant projects related to air quality and resource management. Claire holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from Duke University and has contributed to both national and international environmental assessments, including the Sixth National Climate Assessment. They have also been involved with the Arlington County Environment and Energy Conservation Commission, providing insights on environmental issues and energy conservation.
