Donavan Albert

Donavan Albert has significant experience in communication and project management, currently serving as a Communication Coordinator and Public Affairs Specialist at the USDA Forest Service since January 2003. With over 15 years of service as a Planning Section Chief Type 3 trainee, Donavan has supported more than 35 wildland fire incidents across the U.S. and Canada, fostering strong collaboration with field teams. As the National Web Manager, responsibilities included overseeing the Forest Service’s national web presence and leading strategies for content integration and training. Previous roles include Web Manager at the National Interagency Fire Center, Owner of Cut The Wire, Project Coordinator at SCP Global Technologies, and Order Management Specialist at Micron Electronics. Donavan holds a Master of Science in Business Technologies from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Boise State University, alongside a Private Pilot certification from Holladay Aviation.
