Lars Pomara

Lars Pomara is a Research Ecologist at the US Forest Service, where they focus on ecology and conservation. They have extensive experience collaborating with government agencies, academic institutions, and NGOs, with expertise in landscape ecology, biogeography, conservation, and natural resource management. Lars previously worked as a Biologist and GIS specialist at PRBO Conservation Science, a Research Associate at Siglo Group, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They also served as a lecturer and Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin, where they taught courses on landscape ecology and related subjects. Lars earned a BS in Biology from The University of Dallas, an MS in Wildlife Ecology from The University of Georgia, and a PhD in Geography and the Environment from The University of Texas at Austin.
