Manuel Silva is a Forest Geologist with extensive experience in geological and environmental fields. They began their career as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Specialist in the US Army from 2003 to 2011, before taking on roles such as Hydrology Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey in 2008, and Geologist at the USDA Forest Service from 2009 to 2013. Manuel then worked as a Geologist at the Bureau of Land Management from 2013 to 2017 and is currently the Minerals Program Manager-Geologist with the U.S. Forest Service since 2017. They hold a Master's degree in Chemistry from Arizona State University and Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Environmental Studies from the University of Arizona and Southern Oregon University, respectively.
