Robert Reed

Forester

Robert Reed is an experienced Forester with a background in silviculture and timber management. Currently serving as a Silviculture Forester at the USDA Forest Service on the Deschutes National Forest, Robert has also held positions involving timber management on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and as a Forestry Technician on the Wayne National Forest. Previous roles include working as a Forestry Technician on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest and serving as a Forest Service Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, where research focused on American Elm resilience to Dutch Elm Disease. In earlier positions at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Robert contributed to forest management and wildlife education. Robert holds a degree in Natural Resources Management with a focus on Forestry from The Ohio State University.
