Sonja Lin is an experienced urban connections program manager with the USDA Forest Service since August 2010, holding roles including strategic planner, social scientist, and program specialist. Prior experience includes serving as a research assistant at the University of Washington, where Sonja evaluated small forest landowner participation in conservation programs, and as a hydrologic technician at the U.S. Geological Survey, conducting land-use analyses. Sonja has also contributed to program evaluations in the Brazilian Amazon and taught biology at the University of Washington.
