Ted McArthur is currently the Forest Supervisor at Six Rivers National Forest and has extensive experience with the U.S. Forest Service, where they served as Forest Supervisor from 2014 to 2021, District Ranger, and Assistant National Vegetation Ecologist. Prior to that, they worked as a Range Management Specialist for the US Forest Service from 2000 to 2007 and as an Area Resource Conservationist with USDA-NRCS from 2009 to 2014. Ted earned a master's degree in Restoration Ecology from Oregon State University between 1998 and 2002.
