Vaibhav Kumar

Vaibhav Kumar is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both the U.S. Forest Service and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, since July 2022, where involvement includes a project assessing the carbon mitigation impacts of the US forest sector. Previously, Vaibhav served as a Research Associate at United Arab Emirates University from February 2021 to July 2022, focusing on developing planning and scheduling models for batch and continuous processes using mathematical modeling in a high-performance computing environment. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from January 2015 to February 2021, where a Decision Support Framework for bio-pharmaceutical processes was created. Vaibhav holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and additional graduate and undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, respectively.
