Mark Walker

Mark Walker is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in land acquisition and development within the real estate industry. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Forestar Group, Inc. since February 2019, Mark previously held the position of Vice President of Land Acquisition & Development at D.R. Horton, where management of operations spanned multiple markets, including Atlanta East and Southwest Florida. Earlier roles include Land Acquisition Consultant at Neal Communities and Principal at Quest Capital Advisors, further enhancing expertise in financial modeling and property acquisition. Mark also served as Division President at Robert Harris Homes, achieving significant revenue milestones, and Vice President of Operations for a private builder. Mark holds a BBA from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
