Justine Sequeira

Justine Sequeira has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Justine currently holds the position of Senior Manager at Resonance since January 2023, where they specialize in regenerative agriculture. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager at Resonance from May 2022 to December 2022, providing consulting services to corporations on sustainable sourcing.

Justine also served as the Finance Director for Forested since January 2022, contributing to the development of a platform for global buyers to source non-timber forestry products with environmental credits. Justine previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University from May 2021 to April 2022, focusing on conservation finance.

Justine held the position of Chief of Strategy at Natural Extracts Industries Ltd from September 2019 to August 2020, overseeing operations in Tanzania and Uganda and leading the production of vanilla and other natural flavor products. Justine also worked as a General Manager at Latitude Trade Company from January 2019 to June 2019, managing cocoa processing and exports.

Furthermore, they served as an Investment Manager at Balloon Ventures from January 2018 to December 2018, supporting small businesses in East Africa through an impact fund. Justine also worked as a Program Consultant at TechnoServe from July 2016 to June 2017, where they partnered with agribusinesses in Africa to build competitive markets.

Early in their career, Justine held various roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, including Associate in the Commercial Financial Services Team from July 2014 to June 2016, and Analyst in the Federal Regulatory & Economic Policy Team from July 2013 to June 2014.

Justine Sequeira obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from William & Mary between the years 2009 and 2013. More recently, they pursued a Master's degree in International Agriculture & Rural Development at Cornell University from 2020 to 2021.
