FORESTERS HALL is a hospitality brand created by wife-and-husband duo Sara Curran and Peter Sussman. They launched the brand with a luxury fourteen-bedroom boutique hotel in Cowes, Isle of Wight UK in 2022.

Foresters Hall is an intimate, design-led expression of hospitality rooted in character, craft, and a deep sense of place. Over the course of their tenure, Foresters Hall Cowes was awarded One MICHELIN Key in its inaugural year (2024) and successfully retained One MICHELIN Key until the day the building was sold to a private buyer in January 2026. The Cowes venue was also awarded 5 stars by the AA and was part of the Mr and Mrs Smith and Tablet Hotel collections.

Shaped by their storytelling backgrounds in film and television, the experience Sara & Peter conceived went far beyond aesthetics. Their approach combined understated luxury with thoughtful service and a strong point of view, resulting in a consistent guest experience defined by individuality rather than formula. Every element—from the rhythm of personal kerbside greeting on arrival to the smallest in-room detail—was curated with intention and care.

At the heart of FORESTERS HALL is a belief that true luxury is felt rather than announced. Peter and Sara approach hospitality with empathy and restraint, creating spaces that feel personal, calm, and quietly confident. Design, service, and atmosphere are guided by a respect for craftsmanship and authenticity, with the aim of making guests feel genuinely welcome - at ease from the moment they arrived until a fond farewell. Following the sale of the Cowes venue to private interests in January 2026, the Founders’ legacy endures. Peter and Sara continue to build their portfolio by apply their philosophy in identifying, shaping, and advising exceptional boutique hotel and hospitality executives that share these values—where character matters, stories resonate, and hospitality feels instinctive.
