Nigel Patrick

Nigel Patrick is a Business Development Advisor with the Forestry Commission, currently focusing on woodland creation. With a career spanning over two decades in public service, Nigel served as a councillor and was the Mayor of Kirklees during 2021/22. Previously, Nigel held the role of Business Development Manager at The Kirkwood, where they fostered partnerships to support palliative care initiatives. Educated to degree level in Applied Biology, Nigel has also contributed to local governance and community development through various positions at Leeds City Council and Kirklees Council. Raised on a Pennine hill farm, Nigel maintains a keen interest in farming, particularly through keeping a flock of rare breed sheep.
