John Lemonovich has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering field. John began their career in 1997 as an Automation Specialist for Integrated Industrial Technologies, Inc., where they developed and integrated single and multi-axis motion control systems for various companies. In 1999, they joined Ansaldo STS A Hitachi Group Company as a Principal Engineer, where they were responsible for the hardware and FPGA design of a variety of safety critical circuit boards and the development of the Verification & Validation process following a variety of safety standards. John also implemented a redundant and diverse safety architecture with a Xilinx Zynq FPGA with dual-core hard ARM CPU and an Altera Cyclone V, and was a key contributor in developing a 2 out of 2 (2oo2) safety architecture integrating redundancy and diversity. John also developed multiple PCBs using diversity and composite fail-safety, and holds 5 US patents for various innovative embedded design solutions in safety critical rail transit applications. In 2016, they joined Foresys as a Principal Engineer.

John Lemonovich obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from PennWest California in 1997. John then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003, with a focus on Digital Electronics, System On a Chip (SOC), and Signal Processing.
