Al Martin

Al Martin is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in customer success, presales, and professional services. Currently serving as Director of Solution Engineering at Forethought since January 2024, Al previously held multiple senior roles at Darktrace, including SVP Customer Success, where responsibilities encompassed the creation and leadership of the first Customer Success team, hiring over 320 professionals to support a global customer base of 8,800. Before Darktrace, Al worked at Hewlett-Packard as Director of Professional Services, where the focus was on developing the Go-To-Market strategy and a solution portfolio in Big Data and Digital Customer Experience. Al's earlier experience at Autonomy included Group Head of Presales and Professional Services, overseeing client-facing technical teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue. Al's career commenced as an Oracle Migration Consultant at Whitbread, supported by a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Sheffield.
