Mike Pagano Doom has been working in the video game industry since 2005. Mike Pagano began their career at Warner Bros. Online as an Associate Engineer, where they engineered, produced and designed mobile games based on Warner IP. In 2006, they moved to Disney Internet Group as a Technical Producer, designing and producing online interactive content and games for Disney Connection and Disney Xtreme Digital (DXD). In 2007, they joined Electronic Arts (EA) as an Executive Producer, eventually becoming Studio Head of 8 lb Gorilla. While at EA, they built the company's first Free to Play studio and developed its first mobile Free to Play game. In 2013, they became General Manager at Zynga, and then in 2014, they were appointed CEO of Built Games. In 2019, Mike Pagano Doom started their own company, Pagano World Consulting, where they worked as a Video Game Production Consultant, providing development, publishing and licensing production & game direction for Lionsgate Games, Status Pro and hxro.io. In 2020, they joined ForeVR Games as Chief Creative Officer and StatusPro as Game Advisor.

Mike Pagano Doom attended DigiPen Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a BSc in Real-time Interactive Simulation. In 2016, they obtained an Intermediate (Estimated) Duolingo Spanish Fluency certification from Duolingo.
