Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is a Quality Assurance Document Control Specialist at Forge Biologics since March 2023. Previously, Michael studied Biotechnology at Columbus State Community College from October 2022 to February 2023. Michael has extensive experience in library services, having worked as an Information Services Specialist in Youth Services and Acting Team Leader I at Columbus Metropolitan Library from 2005 to 2017, overseeing youth programs and supervising staff. Earlier roles include a Summer Reading Assistant position in 2004 and teaching fourth grade at Lewisdale Elementary for Prince George's County Public Schools from 2001 to 2003. Michael also served as Acting Director and Manager of Meetings & Convention for the Society of American Foresters from 1997 to 1999, managing large-scale events and budgets. Michael holds an MA in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Morris.
