Monica Simon

Monica Simon currently serves as EVP and Head of Legal at Forge, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Monica was General Counsel at Carta Capital Markets, LLC from March 2020 to March 2022. Monica's earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from July 2018 to March 2020 and as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Goldman Sachs from January 2014 to June 2018. Additional roles include Attorney at Nomura (through Axiom), Associate at Tagliaferro & LoPresti, LLP, and various internships at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Cutwater Asset Management, US Court of International Trade, and Macquarie Bank. Monica holds a JD from New York Law School and an MA in French Language and Literature from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
