Thomas Augason

Thomas Augason, CPA, currently serves as Accounting Manager at Forge since February 2023, focusing on payroll, revenues, and tax-related functions. Previously, Thomas held the position of Senior Accountant at the California Academy of Sciences (September 2019 - February 2023), overseeing earned revenue and cash management while ensuring compliance with ASC 606. Thomas's career began as a Student Accountant at the University of Colorado Boulder Bookstore, progressing through roles at Box, Young, Craig & Co., and Kidz Love Soccer, where responsibilities varied from sales operations to performing audits for nonprofits. Thomas holds a Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
