Chris Williams

Chris Williams is an experienced professional in international affairs and humanitarian assistance, currently serving as a Senior Specialist at Forge Group, LLC since January 2023. Prior to this role, Chris was a Senior Team Lead at Macfadden from March 2022 to January 2023, and held various significant positions at USAID - Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance between February 2017 and August 2022, including Military Liaison Team Unit Lead and Deputy Manager for Planning for the Venezuela Response Management Team. Chris also served as the Lead Humanitarian Assistance Advisor for U.S. Southern Command and Iraq/Syria Civil-Military Affairs Coordinator during this period. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief of Staff for the Syria Task Force and Program Analyst for the Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean at USAID from August 2012 to February 2017. Chris holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs with a focus on U.S. Foreign Policy from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics with a Minor in Spanish from Trinity University.
