Dane Lindblad has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Dane started their career in 2009 as a Researcher at ASPPRC, Colorado School of Mines, where they investigated the role of hydrogen in dynamic strain aging in martensitic steels. Dane'sduties included heat treating, sample preparation, mechanical testing, and microstructural analysis.
In 2011, Lindblad joined Sundew Technologies as a Process & Equipment Engineer. In this role, they worked on the development and production of equipment and processes for depositing thin films using Atomic Layer Deposition. Dane experimented with process parameters and film chemistries to optimize thin film and device properties. Additionally, they designed and implemented custom hardware solutions to enhance throughput, efficiency, and film quality. Dane also redesigned tools to increase user friendliness and versatility.
Lindblad's most recent position was as an R&D Scientist at Forge Nano, Inc. starting in October 2017. Further details about their job responsibilities and timeline in this role are not provided.
Dane Lindblad pursued their Bachelor's of Science degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from 2007 to 2011 at the Colorado School of Mines.
