James Trevey

James Trevey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. James began their career at the University of Colorado at Boulder as a Research Assistant, where they focused on the design, development, processing, and testing of materials for lithium-ion batteries. James then worked as a Research Scientist at HRL Laboratories and later as a Research Associate (Post Doctoral) at the University of Colorado.

In 2012, James joined BLP as a Research and Development Engineer/Scientist, where they conducted research and development activities. James then moved on to various leadership positions, including Vice Chair Board Of Directors at the Military Power Sources Committee and Vice President at NAATBatt International. James also served as a Board Member at NAATBatt International and as an Executive Board Member at the NDIA Manufacturing Division.

Since 2014, James has been associated with Forge Nano, where they initially served as the Chief Technology Officer and was responsible for strategic company vision, product management, and intellectual property analysis and management. James also held the position of Vice Chair Board Of Directors at Forge Nano. In 2022, they joined Li-Bridge as the Chair of the Go-Forward Operating Model Committee.

Through their roles, James has gained extensive experience in strategic planning, product management, intellectual property management, and building strong professional networks. Their expertise spans various industries, including energy storage, materials science, and manufacturing.

James Trevey completed their education at the University of Colorado Boulder. James began their studies in 2002 and completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus in Engineering Physics, in 2007. James then pursued further education at the same university, earning a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2007 to 2010. Finally, they obtained a Ph.D in Materials Science, completing their studies in 2011.
