Senior Field Service Engineer at Forge Nano, Inc.

Joshua McDaniel began their work experience as a Machinist/Elevator Technician at Rack and Pinion Elevator Service from June 2004 to September 2011. Joshua custom fabricated parts for construction elevators using a lathe and a mill. Joshua then worked as a Senior Field Engineer at Halliburton from September 2011 to February 2016, where they supervised crews, sold and utilized electronic tools and computerized surface systems at the wellsite, and performed cased-hole logging and perforating explosive services.

From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Laboratory Engineer at ALD NanoSolutions, conducting laboratory experiments. Joshua also served as a Mechanical Engineer, seeking a position in Mechanical Engineering during the same period, specializing in mechanical design and engineering.

From February 2020 to October 2022, Joshua worked at Forge Nano, Inc. as a System Engineer, designing parts and subsystems using Solidworks for atomic layer deposition powder tools. Joshua then transitioned to the role of Senior Field Service Engineer, where they documented procedures for servicing large industrial production Powder Atomic Layer Deposition tools, determined maintenance intervals, and implemented services in the field.

During their internship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from 2008 to 2011, Joshua assisted in feasibility studies for wind farm locations by analyzing data from MET towers and running them through wind analysis programs.

Joshua McDaniel attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2005 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
