Stephen Brightman

Stephen Brightman has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Stephen is currently the Director of Operations at ForgeNow since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate at Heidrick & Struggles from 2019 to 2021.

Stephen also served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at Aerojet Rocketdyne from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they were responsible for planning, synthesizing, and tracking executive initiatives for a $2B organization with multiple facilities and divisions.

Before joining Aerojet Rocketdyne, Stephen had a successful career in the US Army. Stephen served as a Battery Commander (Director) from 2015 to 2017, overseeing a ballistic missile defense organization. Stephen was also the Air and Missile Defense Battalion Assistant Operations Officer (Senior Program Manager) in 2014-2015, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a forward-deployed battalion. Additionally, Stephen served as an Aide-de-Camp, Commander Task Force Bragg and Fort Bragg (Senior Executive Assistant) in 2013-2014, where they supervised executive duties and coordinated events. Stephen also held roles as a Battalion Intelligence Officer (Senior Manager) in 2012-2013, a Battery Executive Officer (Manager) in 2011-2012, and a Platoon Leader (Manager) in 2010-2011.

Throughout their career, Stephen has gained expertise in operations management, executive support, staff coordination, and strategic planning.

Stephen Brightman earned a BS in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point, graduating in 2010. In 2018, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, in March 2016, they acquired the certification of Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
