Sameer Sait

Sameer Sait is a seasoned professional in the field of identity and access security, currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at BalkanID since September 2021. Additionally, Sameer hosts the identity Jedi Podcast, collaborating with David Lee to address key issues within the identity sector. As an experienced investor and advisor, Sameer is involved with multiple companies, including serving as an advisor and seed investor at Amplifier Security and as an investor and advisor at SVCI - Silicon Valley CISO Investments. Sameer also holds positions as a limited partner at Forgepoint Capital and has made early investments in several firms such as Traceable AI, Grip Security, SafeBase, and Symmetry Systems, Inc. Notably, Sameer was the Chief Information Security Officer at Amazon from August 2019 to August 2021. Sameer's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, complemented by further education at Harvard Business School.
