ForgePoint was created through the initial acquisition of American Overhead Door & Dock, LLC (“American” or “AODD”). Today, American operates from three locations and is focused on the sale, installation, and maintenance of commercial and industrial overhead door, loading dock, and access control / perimeter security solutions.

The door and dock industry, traditionally fragmented, has been led by independent, owner or operator-led businesses serving their local markets with dedication. However, as global logistics networks expand, there is a growing imperative for broader reach and enhanced capabilities. This shift requires many owner-run businesses to navigate a critical pivot point in their growth journey.

At ForgePoint, we believe that door and dock companies thrive when experienced, passionate owners and operators are able to fully focus on what they do best – serving customers. We believe unlocking their full potential happens when local leaders are met with flexible support rather than rigid playbooks. And, with the right partnership, the future of this industry can continue to be rooted in community, committed to people, and bold in ambition.

Achieving transformational outcomes requires unmatched expertise, solid relationships, and people empowered to do what it takes to deliver. Because we know that when capable teams have the right support, they don’t just meet the moment, they move it forward.

ForgePoint turns shared ambition into coordinated action — galvanizing growth that’s built to endure.
