Michael Simon, CIPP-US/E, CIPM, is an accomplished attorney and the owner of Law Plus Data LLC, a data-focused law firm addressing complex issues in Privacy, AI Governance, and eDiscovery. Currently serving as the co-leader of the Financial Services AI Risk Audit Working Group at ForHumanity and holding a Fellowship within the organization, Michael actively contributes to establishing audit rules for AI systems in financial services. As a founding Board member of the International Digital Workers Association, Michael provides insights on AI systems functioning as digital employees. Additionally, Michael is the co-chair of the Consumer Privacy and Data Analytics Subcommittee for the American Bar Association and has extensive experience in consulting, academia, and legal technology. Michael holds a JD from Loyola University Chicago and a BA from Tufts University.
