Chris McCarty

Chris McCarty has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Chris started their career as a Soldier in the Wisconsin Army National Guard in 1994 and later joined the US Army as a Soldier in 2002. During their time in the US Army, they served as an Operations NCO and was responsible for analyzing operations policies, planning training events, and executing demolition certification events.

After leaving the military, Chris owned and managed Eyewear Express of Missouri, where they handled tasks such as analyzing and creating a business plan, managing inventory and equipment, and completing store setup and construction.

Chris then worked as a Correctional Officer at the Missouri Department of Corrections for a brief period in 2014 before transitioning to a role at Columbia College as a student.

In 2016, Chris joined Web Courseworks where they held various positions, including Education Software Implementer, Quality Assurance Specialist, and Client Services Specialist. Chris'sresponsibilities included managing CourseStage implementations, communicating project goals, and scheduling project resources.

In 2020, Chris was promoted to the role of Client Services Team Lead at Web Courseworks, where they continued to oversee client services and led a team.

Most recently, in 2023, Chris joined Forj as the Client Services Team Lead, further expanding their experience in client services management.

Chris McCarty began their education journey in 1998 at Nicolet Area Technical College, where they pursued an Associate's degree in Marketing. Chris completed their studies in 2000. During the same period, they also attended Columbia College and earned another Associate's degree in Business Management.

After a gap of several years, Chris returned to their studies in 2012 and enrolled at Columbia College once again. This time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, which they successfully completed in 2016.

Finally, in 2016, Chris joined Missouri University of Science and Technology for a year-long program in Information Systems Project Management. Although the information does not specify if they received a degree from this institution, it indicates their involvement in this particular field of study.
