Jocelin James is a Program Manager and trauma-informed leader dedicated to advancing equity and housing stability for vulnerable communities. With a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Wesleyan University, they have gained extensive experience in case management and program management, including roles at ForKids, Inc. and Firm Foundation of Virginia, Inc. Jocelin is passionate about advocating for systemic change to confront racial and gender inequities, mass incarceration, and the criminalization of poverty, striving to ensure that safe and stable housing is recognized as a fundamental right.
