Form & Function Orthopaedics is not your typical orthopedic clinic.

Founded by Dr. Nancy Yen Shipley, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, we blend precision medicine, cutting-edge regenerative therapies, and a whole-human approach to help active adults move better, recover faster, and thrive longer.

We serve individuals in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond who are ready to take charge of their joint health - not just mask pain or wait until it’s “bad enough” for surgery. Whether you’re navigating perimenopausal joint pain, returning to sport after an injury, or simply want to stay active without compromise, we meet you with the expertise of an orthopedic specialist and the partnership of someone who listens.

At F2 Ortho, we believe in:
JointSpan™: a personalized roadmap to extend the performance and longevity of your joints
Regenerative medicine with integrity: PRP, orthobiologics, and science-backed innovations
Hormone-aware musculoskeletal care, especially for midlife women and men
Empathy in a system that too often rushes, dismisses, or overlooks
Surgical excellence when you need it - but not as the default answer

Located in Portland, Oregon, we operate with a hybrid model: insurance-based orthopedic care alongside cash-pay services including PRP, advanced regenerative treatments, peptide protocols, and performance optimization strategies.

We’re not just here to treat injuries - we’re here to help you level up.
