Siyao Xie

Siyao Xie has a diverse work experience. In 2010, they were a Senior Photographer at The Student Life Newspaper. In 2011, they were a User Experience Design Intern at Microsoft. In 2012, they were a User Interface Designer and Project Manager at Sunshine Library Rural Education Initiative, as well as a Project Management Intern at Intuit. In 2013, they were a User Interaction Intern at Qualcomm. In 2014, they were an iOS Engineer at Path. In 2015, they were an iOS Engineer at Uber. In 2018, they were a Founding iOS Engineer at Forma - Try It On, where they architected and built the app from the ground up. In 2019, they were a Team Lead and Senior iOS Engineer at Polarr.

Siyao Xie began their educational journey in 2007 at The Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University, where they earned their High School Diploma. From 2010 to 2014, they attended both Pomona College and Harvey Mudd College, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Studio Art from Pomona College. In 2013, they also attended the Aquincum Institute of Technology to study Computer Science.
