Chels Upton has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Chels began their career as a Music Intern at the Dallas Observer, followed by an Editorial Intern at Central Track. In 2011, they also began working at Radio UTD as a Music Director and Remote DJ Coordinator. In 2018, they joined Ruby as a Customer Success Manager, Problem Solver & Happiness Maker, and Receptionist. In 2022, they transitioned to FormAssembly as a Customer Success Manager.

Chels Upton attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2009 to 2013. In November 2021, they obtained an Account Manager / Customer Success Certification from Sales Assembly.
