Arden Maalik

Arden Maalik's work experience includes a Software Engineering Fellowship at Formation starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Matchbox Virtual Media from September 2020 to October 2022. In this role, Arden independently designed and developed scalable frontend and backend systems, contributed to the company's valuation and expansion, and collaborated with a global team. Before that, Arden worked as a Software Engineer at TouchCat Digital in 2019, where they developed custom applications, created reusable components, and conducted code and design reviews. Arden also worked as a Program Coordinator at Leave Out Violence (LOVE) US in 2017 and as a Communications Coordinator at Ontario Public Interest Research Group from 2014 to 2016. They also had a brief role as a Software Engineer at Toronto Police Services Board in 2013.

Arden Maalik completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of the People, which they pursued from 2022 to 2026. In addition, Arden obtained a certification in React from TestDome in April 2022.
