Johnny Z.

Johnny Zavala has a diverse work experience. Johnny started as a Research Assistant at The RNA Institute, University at Albany, SUNY, where they successfully collaborated with a team to develop and validate a new technology for detecting genetic sequences. During this time, they also published research in a peer-reviewed journal.

Johnny then worked as a Data Analyst at Citi, where they created a database to manage employees and improve problem resolution duration. Johnny also utilized Excel macros for P&L analysis.

After that, Johnny joined American Express as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to scaling UI/UX for the Membership Rewards web application. Johnny migrated app modules to a standard UI/UX across international markets and loyalty card products.
