Katherine Pangtay

Katherine Pangtay has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Katherine started their career as a 3D intern at JANIMATION in 2013. After that, they worked at Ivie as a digital design intern and later as a user interface designer from 2014 to 2015. Katherine then joined Funimation as a user interface designer and worked there until 2018. In 2018, they attended The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy and served as a software developer teaching fellow. Katherine provided mentorship to students and conducted technical interviews. In 2019, Katherine joined Very Great as a frontend developer, where they worked until 2020. Katherine also freelanced as a UI/UX designer and developer from 2018 to 2019. In 2021, they worked at NexTech AR Solutions as a frontend developer until 2022. Currently, they are working at Formation as a software engineering fellow. In 2023, they will be joining American Airlines as a frontend developer.

Katherine Pangtay has a diverse education history. In 2005, they attended Ursuline Academy of Dallas, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Moving forward, from 2009 to 2013, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Visualization from Texas A&M University. Following this, in 2013, they spent a semester abroad at the Academy for International Education (AIB), where the specific degree earned is unknown. Lastly, in 2018, they attended Fullstack Academy, completing The Grace Hopper Program and earning a degree in Computer Software Engineering.
