Ronald Paek has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ronald began their career as a Co-Founder at SP Wireless in 2008, where they successfully led a team and achieved significant sales growth through effective marketing strategies. After their tenure at SP Wireless, Ronald joined Formation as a Software Engineering Fellow in 2022. During their time at Formation, Ronald completed an intensive training program, honing their software engineering skills through personalized coaching and practical exercises. Ronald contributed to the improvement of a large code base by fixing bugs, implementing new features, and enhancing the user experience. In 2023, Ronald joined two more companies, Chingu and Hack for LA, as a Software Engineer. At Chingu, they resolved rendering bugs, overhauled API logic, and led daily stand-up meetings, ensuring effective communication and progress towards project goals. At Hack for LA, they collaborated with partners to design and develop software solutions for community projects. Ronald conducted code reviews, contributed to the organization's open-source website, and made improvements to functionality and user experience. Ronald Paek has a varied education history in the field of software engineering. In 2022 and 2023, they attended the JSM Masterclass Experience and Scrimba, respectively, to study Full Stack Development and Front End Development. In 2021, Ronald completed the Foundations Lite Course at Code Chrysalis. The year before, in 2020, they pursued the Codesmith CS Prep program at Codesmith. Prior to their software engineering studies, Ronald's education background includes studies in Business Administration and Management, General at Georgia State University. On top of their formal education, Ronald has also obtained additional certifications. In February 2023, they earned the "Introduction to Agile Development and Scrum" certificate with honors from Coursera. In March 2023, Ronald became a Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) through the Scrum Alliance.
