Ross Baquir

Ross Baquir has a diverse work experience in software engineering and marketing. Ross recently joined Formation as a Software Engineering Fellow where they received personalized coaching from top-tier engineers and mastered computer science fundamentals through intensive training. Prior to that, they worked at Fiskkit as a Software Developer, where they rebuilt a React.js front end and launched a public beta. Ross also gained experience as a Jr Software Developer at Expedition Co., collaborating on bespoke applications and developing features for Hyundai Sales Training. Ross started their career at Annegie Inc. as a Marketing & Creative Generalist, creating engaging content for web campaigns and optimizing ad campaigns on multiple channels.

Ross Baquir attended California State University, Long Beach from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Japanese Studies. In 2009-2010, they studied abroad at Tenri University, also focusing on Japanese Studies. From 2010 to 2014, they attended El Camino College, where they pursued studies in Photography, Art, and Design. In 2016-2017, Ross enrolled in a bootcamp called Thinkful, specializing in Full-stack Web Development.
