Timur Galkin

Timur Galkin is a Medical Informatics student at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where they maintain a GPA of 4.0/5.5. Currently, they serve as a Data Software Engineer at EPAM Systems, completing hands-on training in Python and SQL, and are a Software Engineering Fellow with Waymo and Formation, focused on system design. Previously, Timur worked as a Data Modeling and Emergency Simulation Engineer at the Department of Nuclear and Radiation Safety, developing predictive models for nuclear incidents and collaborating with national emergency response teams. With experience in backend and data engineering, Timur aims to lead engineering efforts that address civilization-level challenges through scalable, data-driven systems.
