Ian Welsh is an experienced Back End Developer currently working at Formedix since August 2021, following the company's acquisition by Certara. Prior to this role, Ian served as a Back End Developer and Development Manager at Atos from January 2013 to August 2021, managing a small development team on an enterprise-scale project involving Scala and Java. Ian's background includes a position in Process Management at the Royal Air Force, focusing on QA activities for the Typhoon Mission Support Centre, as well as experience in problem resolution for MRA4 technical queries. Ian's extensive career began with the Royal Air Force in various technical roles, including Project Manager and Avionics Technician, from 1992 to 2008. Ian holds a BSC (1st) Honours degree in IT and Computing from The Open University.
