Michael Lane

Michael Lane has a diverse work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Michael most recently served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Formerra since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Avient Corporation as the General Manager, Distribution, where they led a team and was responsible for sales growth, profitability, and supplier relationships. Michael also played a key role in launching Avient Distribution's digital strategy.

Before joining Avient, Michael worked at PolyOne in several roles, including General Manager, Distribution, Integration Director, Finance Director for Specialty Engineered Materials and Distribution, Finance Manager for Europe Engineered Materials, and Treasury Manager. In these positions, they managed financial planning and analysis, led integration processes, and contributed to acquisition and divestiture activities.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked at Ernst & Young as a Senior Associate in International Tax - Transfer Pricing. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong background in finance and leadership, with a focus on strategic planning, financial analysis, and team management.

Michael Lane's education history starts with their graduation from Archbishop Alter High School in 2000. Michael then attended Dartmouth College from 2000 to 2001, but it is unknown whether they obtained a degree or studied any specific field. Later, Michael enrolled at the University of Notre Dame from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Finally, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2007 to 2009.
