Ankita Bhuyan

Ankita Bhuyan is a seasoned Sr. Principal Manufacturing Process Engineer at FormFactor Inc. since November 2024, with extensive expertise in processes such as parylene coating, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), physical vapor deposition (PVD), reactive ion etching (RIE), plasma etching, and wet etching. Prior to this role, Ankita served as a Sr. Materials and Process Engineer at Terecircuits Corporation, focusing on optimizing the Laser Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) process for microLEDs and microchips. Previous experience includes a position as a Process Engineer in Emerging Optics at Amazon, leading material characterization for innovative display products, and serving as an Optical Materials and Process Engineer II at Digilens Inc., where Ankita focused on material selection for augmented reality applications. Ankita's academic background includes a PhD from Washington State University, where extensive research on the nonlinear photomechanical effects in polymer fibers and liquid crystals was conducted, alongside experience as a teaching assistant and physics tutor. An MS in Physical Sciences was earned from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
