Daniel Doan

Daniel Doan, EIT has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering. Daniel is currently serving as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at FormFactor Inc. Their previous roles include Senior Mechanical Engineer at Intuity Medical, Inc., Mechanical Engineer II at Talis Biomedical Corporation, Mechanical Engineer at KLA, Mechanical Engineer at Robson Technologies, Inc., and Technical Support Engineering Intern at FormFactor Inc. Additionally, they have also worked as a Co-Op Student/District Temp at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. Their expertise includes designing prototypes, test fixtures, and mechanical parts, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Daniel Doan, EIT has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, which they obtained between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Pacific, which they obtained from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Daniel has obtained several certifications, including an Engineer In Training (EIT) certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in 2017. Daniel has also completed certifications in additive manufacturing troubleshooting, engineering drawings for manufacturing, project management, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and various programming courses.
