Johannes Trost

Johannes Trost is a Technical Director at FormFactor, where they have been since 2004, serving as a hands-on engineering manager specializing in photolithography, thin film deposition, and plasma etching. They developed significant lithography enhancements that contributed to FormFactor's new spring technologies and delivered high-yielding lithography processes. Previously, Johannes worked as a Post-Doc at the Max-Planck-Institute from 1995 to 1997, where they utilized STM to capture real-time films of atomic interactions. Johannes also held a role in Process Engineering at IBM from 1997 to 2003, leading the implementation of advanced stepper and resist technologies. They hold a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Freie Universität Berlin and are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Solid State Physics at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
