Jue Jiang's work experience began in 2013 at Penn State University, where they held roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. As a Research Assistant, they focused on superconductors and topological insulators, conducting research on nano-devices and sample quantum transport properties. They also served as a Teaching Assistant, instructing undergraduate courses in mechanics, electricity and magnetism, fluids and thermal physics, and entry-level quantum physics.
In 2019, Jue Jiang joined Luminus Devices as a Process Development Engineer, contributing to the development of wafer and device-level testing setups for LED characterization. They also wrote Python code for optical simulation and analysis of white LED spectra, and participated in product development for phosphor-converted white and red LEDs.
Currently, Jue Jiang works at FormFactor Inc. as a Sr. Principal Process/Equipment Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for developing protocols for MEMS defect detection and optical inspection automation. They also oversee the parylene coating process in high-volume manufacturing operations.
Jue Jiang received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Sichuan University in 2013. They then attended the University of Utah in 2012 for a non-degree program in Physics. Subsequently, Jue pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at Penn State University from 2013 to 2019.
