Dan Wakefield

Dan Wakefield, CPA, MBA has an extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Dan is currently serving as the CFO & Managing Partner at FORMICIDAE, LLC, where their role involves providing innovative outsourcing solutions in various areas such as finances, IT & software development, call center services, and sales and marketing. Prior to this, they worked as the President at CFO Cashflow Solutions, Inc., offering growth strategy solutions for three vertical markets. Dan also has experience as the President of Wakefield and Associates, Inc. & Patriot Construction Services, where they specialized in financial management and consulting services. Dan has also held CFO positions at Hann and Hann, Inc. and W. L. Gary Company, Inc., contributing to the growth of both companies. Starting their career at HITT Contracting Inc., Dan served as a Controller and played a key role in the company's notable growth. Dan also worked as a Controller at Allied Capital, where they automated the company's financial systems. Prior to their corporate career, Dan served in the United States Marine Corps as an E-5 Sergeant.

Dan Wakefield, CPA, MBA, obtained a BCS in Accounting and Finance from The George Washington University from 1982 to 1987. Dan later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained certifications in Project Management Simplified and Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls from LinkedIn. Dan also holds a Procore Certification in Project Manager (Construction Financials) from Procore Technologies.
