Brittany Feenstra

Brittany Feenstra has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Broadcast Manager at Seattle Pacific University's on-campus radio station. Brittany then joined Buffalo Exchange as an Expert Buyer, where they balanced their full-time work with being a full-time student. In 2012, Feenstra worked as a Quit Coach at Alere Wellbeing, helping individuals with tobacco addiction. Brittany also worked at TestudoData as an Operations/Administrative Assistant, gaining experience in database management. Feenstra then transitioned into the legal field, working as an Accounting Assistant & Record Keeper at Schlemlein Goetz Fick & Scruggs, PLLC, and later became the Online Marketing Director for the firm. Brittany joined General Assembly in 2015 for a 12-week immersive bootcamp in web development. Following that, Feenstra worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Smashing Ideas, where they worked on a time-pressured project with a large client. Brittany then became a Front End Developer at Brown Paper Tickets, focusing on JavaScript development. Feenstra joined Carvana as a Software Engineer before eventually joining Formidable, where they held multiple roles including Software Engineer, Software Engineering Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Engineering.

Brittany Feenstra began their education at Arvada West High School, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. After completing their high school education, Brittany went on to Seattle Pacific University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from 2008 to 2012.

Following their undergraduate studies, in 2009, Brittany participated in a Spanish language and history study abroad program at Universidad de Salamanca, earning a Spanish Minor. Brittany then continued to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of web development. From 2013 to 2015, Brittany pursued Front End Development through online courses at Team Treehouse.

In 2015, they attended General Assembly's Web Development Immersive program, further strengthening their expertise in web development. Overall, Brittany Feenstra's education journey encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including sociology, Spanish language and history, and web development.
