Robert Walker

Robert Walker is an experienced software engineer and engineering manager, currently serving as a Staff Engineer and Software Engineering Manager at Nearform since November 2021. Walker's extensive background includes roles at Walker Software Solutions, ClimbAX Ltd, and Griptonite, focusing on developing mobile applications using technologies such as React Native, Angular, and Laravel, as well as managing AWS infrastructure. As a co-founder and CTO of Papertrail.io, Walker played a key role in developing SaaS products and held multiple engineering roles. Prior to these positions, Walker worked as a Senior Web Developer for British Airways and gained early experience as an instructor at Low Mill Outdoor Centre and Acorn Adventure. Walker holds a degree in Outdoor Leadership and Outdoor Education from the University of Cumbria.
